HOW DO I GET A CONSULTATION AND ESTIMATE, AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Calling us at 760-598-7727 is the fastest way to get helped. We can often schedule to do your estimate in the next day or two, depending on how busy we are. Let us know if you have a particularly urgent situation. You can also send us an email from the Contact Us page, tell us what you're interested in, and we'll contact you as soon as possible. Estimates can be done very quickly. A thorough safety consultation can take about twenty minutes or more to do, depending on the job. If you need multiple estimates, or have challenging or complicated jobs, allow for more time. We'll discuss your needs, consider options and layouts, draw up a diagram, take measurements, show samples to you, calculate your total investment, and schedule your job.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON FREE CONSULTATIONS AND ESTIMATES?

Call 760-598-7727 or contact us by email from our Contact Us page, and we'll schedule to come out to visit with you for a free consultation and estimate if you're within our free estimate area, which generally covers San Diego County, Orange County, and Riverside County, CA. This is a very important decision you will be making, so we encourage you to have all responsible parties available to go over options and layouts, see samples, and get all of your questions answered. Intelligent planning can make all the difference in providing the safest pool environment possible, and making the most of your pool area and property. We offer Saturday appointments for your convenience. If you're outside of our free estimate area, but still in our installation area in southern California, we can often do a free estimate over the phone or by email. We might ask you to take some measurements and give those to us, or, if you've got measurements from a previous estimate, we can use those as a starting point. You can also email pictures of the job area to us and we'll help you design the best way to do your project. For pool fencing, if any adjustments need to be made, they can usually be done at the time of installation. If, in this case, you prefer that we come out to do a consultation, we require that you first pay a trip charge; depending on where you are, we may allow you to use this as a credit toward your Cal Viking purchase, so you end up paying zero for your estimate after you've ordered and paid for your completed job. We've done many pool fence installations in the past, from Beverly Hills to Calexico, where our customers have ordered over the phone, knowing that they'll get the best job at the best price, properly installed with a professional attitude.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY PRODUCT INSTALLED?

This depends on how busy we are, but our pool safety systems get installed very quickly. From the time when we receive your paperwork authorizing the job, turn around time for a pool fence is often the fastest, sometimes as little as one day, but usually about one to two weeks. Pool covers, nets, and solar jobs usually take about two to three weeks to schedule. The installation itself is usually a one day job unless it's a large or very labor intensive job. Commercial installations vary greatly, and will be handled on an individual basis.

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND FIRST FOR POOL SAFETY?

You are always your child's best protection from pool accidents, however, having a back up plan is essential. Whether you're a parent or a guardian, pool fence is usually your best choice. Automatic pool covers work very well. Manual pool covers and nets are recommended only if you can't use a pool fence or an automatic cover, or as a second layer of protection. Pool alarms don't keep children away from the water.
